In this unit, we explore the basic principles that make up ballet. We focus on barre exercises and fundamental steps used in the technique. We also look at some famous ballet works including The Nutcracker, which ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater puts on every year! The Dance Explorers have the opportunity to perform in The Nutcracker with the rest of the ALDEN MOVES students and get to create props used in the performance!
