During the modern dance unit, students will learn modern fundamentals through technique class. They will explore various qualities of movement as expressed by modern dance choreographers such as Lester Horton, Martha Graham, Jose Limon, and more! Students will learn choreography and build their own movement sequences to reflect their understanding of shape, texture, and emotion.
