This August, get out of the studio and soak up the majesty of mountainous settings and larger-than-life sculpture parks in a one-of-a-kind creative residency on our Upstate Campus!

Includes: 

• Daily morning Modern or Jazz technique class in our converted barn
• 2 Trip Days, weather permitting. On Trip days, we'll visit preserves like Minnewaska State Park and sculpture parks like Art Omi, leaning into our surroundings to inspire site-specific improvisation and dance composition work. Adventures will be well-documented through photo and video!
• Studio Days, which will include a second morning technique class of ballet center work, enrichment like Pilates, restorative conditioning, and yoga, and dance composition lessons in prep for trip days.
• ​Lunch & Snacks

In addition to fueling creative exploration (for both fun and future audition prep), these intensives provide the perfect forum to ease dancers back into classes following summer weeks off and refine technique along the way. They're perfect for kids with creative backgrounds who are looking to try more technical training as well as kids with a lot of technical training who are looking to get out of the studio and explore new and exciting spaces.
