For Dancers Age 10+ Ready to Leap Ahead

Upstate Intensives
Open to current students only. Two available weeks: Aug 30- Sept 3 is open to ages 9+ and Aug 17-22 is open to ages 12+. Upstate Intensives are available only to students who have been with the studio for a minimum of six months and are not eligible for multi-week or sibling discounts due to the limited number of campers we are able to able to accept. Brooklyn Company B Intensives
This year's Company B Intensives in Brooklyn is for experienced dancers. Jr. Company B Intensive is for ages 10+ , and Sr. Company B Intensive is for ages 12+ only. It includes a daily ballet class, longer technique classes in general (1-1.5hrs classes vs 45min-1hr immersion classes), and a 2nd morning technique class in either modern or jazz styles. Afternoon enrichment classes will include a mix of hip hop, dance composition, Pilates, pointe, improvisation, and rehearsal for an outdoor fall performance like Flatbush Frolic rather than an end-of week showcase. The longer day and additional class time gives us an even greater ability to work on advancing steps/vocabulary and help dancers who have had significant time off during the summer to regain lost ground before we get back to fall classes (which allows fall classes to progress more quickly!). A placement audition is required for new dancers who wish to participate. Please contact [email protected] to arrange a time when your dancer can take a class at the studio
