At ALDEN MOVES Dance Theater, we invite students to adventure into dance--to discover the freedom of movement, the joy of creation, and the artistry of expression. Rooted in classical training and propelled by contemporary exploration, we are reexamining and reinventing the institutional mold to move dance forward and show that dance, at its core, is more inclusive than exclusive. 

Our studio is for families who love the excitement of primping for class and the magic of opening nights; for parents who want to see their children realize their potential as much as they want them to have fun along the way; for students who want the full experience of what it is--and what it takes--to be a dancer. 

In classes, rehearsals, performances, camps, intensives, and our Dance Explorers After-School Program, we emphasize mastery of harmony rather than the pursuit of an elusive perfection. The beauty of harmony is that it's available at every level, and we're teaching dancers at every age and every stage how this makes movement dance and makes dance move. From studio to stage, we create space for students to grow, explore, and showcase the artist inside.
